In the 1970s, it was a wood-heated hot tub. It was used a handful of times, deemed to be too inefficient, and then became a place for storing random objects. The pole beans are flowering and as they finish, little bean-pods are starting to emerge. The potatoes are going insane. If the gophers don’t get them we’ll have a ridiculous amount. There are so many bees inside the raspberry bushes it sounds like the bushes are about to shoot off skyward.
